Here’s another listening practice to use with students that’s fun and educational. Using music is a great way to learn not only new words but idioms and pop culture references.

Have students watch or listen to the song and fill in the blanks while they listen. If you want, students can listen to the song a second time. In small groups, have students compare how they filled in the blanks with the lyrics. Then, have students answer the discussion questions below in small groups.
