Phrasal Verbs are used by many native English speakers. Here are some that you use in your conversations! Even if you are not comfortable using them, you can hear them in conversations, movies and TV shows.

  • eat out/ eat in- to eat in a restaurant/to eat at home
    • Do you want to eat out tonight? No, I’m tired, can we eat in?
  • Look up to- admire
    • I look up to my father, he is a great man and I want to be like him.
  • Cut down on-do less of
    • I want to eat healthier so I will cut down on eating sugar.
